Plan to Demolish Farm at Quatre Bras

Dominique Timmerman reports that there has a request to demolish the famous Quatre- Bras Farm on the crossroads of the roads from Namur to Nivelles and from Brussels to Charleroi. The Battle of Quatre- Bras was fought on the 16th of June 1815 between elements of the Anglo-Dutch Army commanded by Wellington and the left wing of Napoleon's Army commanded by Marshal Ney. The battle was the precursor to the Battle of Waterloo.
