Members of Guild of Guides go back to School

Members of the Guild of Battlefield Guides met at Southwick Park in Hampshire for a weekend of training on Medieval Arms and Armour and 18th Century Weapons. The Lecturers came from within the Guild and from the Wallace Collection. All were fascinated by this brief insight into different weapons and armour from those that most of the guides were used to. In particular all were fascinated by the the demonstration of Knight v Archer put on by Dr Tobias Capwell and Nicholas Checksfield. To find out about the Guild of Battlefield Guides
